Annabelle is a Senior Associate at CEG Europe, based in the Düsseldorf office. She applies her expertise in microeconomic theory and econometric techniques to advise clients in competition matters.

Prior to joining CEG, Annabelle was a Senior Economist at E.CA Economics in Berlin and Brussels where she advised clients in competition matters. During her studies, she also briefly worked as an intern at the German Federal Cartel Office in Bonn. 

Annabelle has provided economic advice on numerous cases covering the main fields of antitrust (phase I and phase II mergers and acquisitions, cartels, abuse of dominance) across many different industries, including payment cards, cement and ready-mixed concrete, the automotive sector, sugar, district heating and advertising.

Annabelle holds an MSc, awarded with cum laude honours, in Economic Studies with a focus on competition and regulation from Maastricht University. In her Master’s thesis, she empirically investigated the efficacy of the 2002 EU Leniency programme.

She is fluent in German and English and has a working knowledge of French.
