CEG continues to boost its Quantitative Finance Practice in Europe with three Senior Consultant appointments

Recently CEG has added three Senior Consultants to its array of Experts in its Quantitative Finance Practice. This is consistent with its strategy to be a major force in Quantitative Finance and assist clients in this area of complexity. These appointments include the internationally renowned Dr. Paul WilmottProfessor Wim Schoutens and Ms Indra Bleobaum. Given the breadth of their expertise and leadership in the field of Quantitative Finance, CEG is further enabled to cover the whole breadth of asset classes in both financial and energy/commodity derivatives.

Dr. Paul Wilmott needs no introduction in the field of Quantitative Finance as he is considered as one of the “Fathers” in this field and a primary enabler in making this area accessible to many. Paul is a researcher, author, consultant, lecturer and expert witness working in risk management, derivatives and most things quantitative in finance.

Professor Wim Schoutens also needs no introduction. He comes with extensive research and practical experience of complex model implementation and is well-known for his consulting work to the banking industry and other institutions, such as the European Commission.

Ms  Indra Bloebaum is an very experienced Quant with expertise in in both the financial services and energy/commodity sectors. She has been appointed in various senior roles in both Product Pricing and Risk Management across these sectors.

These Senior Consultants continue to work together with CEG’s quantitative finance professionals to address their client needs. Such clients include major law firms, regulators, financial institutions and other corporates.  CEG professionals are further enabled to provide independent and robust valuations of complex financial and energy products for dispute and litigation support as well as in support of other complex corporate decisions.
