Fabian is a Senior Adviser at CEG Europe, based in Düsseldorf. He has extensive experience in a wide range of quantitative techniques, with a focus on the econometric estimation of cartel damages. He has advised clients across a range of sectors including building materials, food retail, oilfield services,  steel, automotive and transportation.

At CEG, he has recently been involved with the econometric estimation of cartel damages for a large German food retailer in the context of
a follow-on claim before the German courts and in a damages case concerning RoRo shipping. He further advises the seller of a German food retailer before the German Federal Cartel Office. 

Fabian has been named in Who’s Who Legal: Competition as one of Germany’s “Future Leaders” in competition economics.

Prior to joining CEG, Fabian was a Senior Econometrician at NERA Economic Consulting in its competition economics practice in Berlin.
He advised clients across a range of industries and all areas of competition policy including antitrust, mergers, economic and financial regulation.

Fabian holds a Master degree in Economic Analysis from the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, an M.Phil. (with distinction) in Economic and Financial Research with a specialisation in Econometrics from Maastricht University and a B.Sc. in Econometrics and Operations Research from Maastricht University. 

Fabian is native in German, fluent in English and has a good working knowledge of Dutch and Spanish.
