Fabian is a Senior Adviser at CEG Europe, based in Düsseldorf. He has extensive experience in a wide range of quantitative techniques, with a focus on the econometric estimation of cartel damages. He has advised clients across a range of sectors including building materials, food retail, oilfield services, steel, automotive and transportation.

Fabian has repeatedly been named in Who’s Who Legal: Competition as one of Germany’s “Future Leaders” in competition economics. He is also part of the team that was recognised as “Competition Economists of the Year in Germany” in 2020.

During his career, he has advised more than 20 clients across a range
of industries and all areas of competition policy including antitrust, mergers, economic and financial regulation. Recently he has been involved with the econometric estimation of cartel damages in high profile cases concerning RoRo shipping and the Europe-wide trucks cartel. He further advised the seller of a German food retailer before
the German Federal Cartel Office.

Prior to joining CEG, Fabian was a Senior Econometrician at a different economic consulting firm in its competition economics practice in Berlin.

Fabian holds a Master degree in Economic Analysis from the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, an M.Phil. (with distinction) in Economic and Financial Research with a specialisation in Econometrics and a B.Sc.
in Econometrics and Operations Research from Maastricht University. 

Fabian is native in German, fluent in English and has a good working knowledge of Dutch and Spanish.
