Fred Wandschneider co-authors new Handbook of Behavioral Industrial Organization.
Fred Wandschneider, of CEG’s Düsseldorf office, contributed a chapter to the “Handbook of Behavioral Industrial Organization”, published this month by Edward Elgar Publishing.
The handbook is written by collaboration of academics and professional economists in the fields of behavioural economics, industrial organisation, regulation and consumer psychology. It presents insights from the expanding field of behavioural economics, and integrates them into the study of Industrial organisation to enhance our understanding of how firms, markets and consumer really behave.
Fred’s chapter explores how behavioural issues affect the design of antitrust policy, in particular with regards to the deterrence of cartel activity.
