CEG supports claim for damages against Samsung

A team of CEG Europe, headed by Dr Rob Vossen has supported the Consumer Competition Claims Foundation and Consumentenbond in a claim for damages against Samsung that was filed yesterday.

In 2021, Samsung was fined for its conduct of coordinating retail sales prices of Samsung branded TVs with various retailers from 2013 to 2018.

CEG’s expert report demonstrates that the retail prices of Samsung TV’s, as well as TV’s of other brands, were likely inflated due to Samsung’s conduct and gives a preliminary estimate of damages to consumers.
